Central Iowa Knitters

The next CIK meeting will be held at 7pm on October 7, 2008 at Valley Church (4343 Fuller Road).  We will conduct the CIK business meeting, have a show-and-tell session, and then our guest speaker will join us at 8pm to speak about comfort shawls.  Mary Kay Casey from Mercy Hospice will inspire us with a talk about the residents she serves and the meaning that comfort shawls have for patients and their families.  If you’ve found a great shawl pattern you’d like to share, please put a link to it in the comments.
